Vermont Task Force
Give Way to Freedom has two representatives who were appointed to the Vermont Human Trafficking Task Force — a group working towards advancing how the State handles cases and establishing a protocol for
victim services. The task force also prioritized trainings for professionals from the wide variety of disciplines that may encounter human trafficking and Give Way to Freedom accepted the role of chairing the Training Subcommittee.
In the Fall of 2015, Give Way to Freedom assisted the Vermont U.S. Attorney’s office in launching the U Can Stop Traffick campaign, and the public service announcement developed as part of the campaign received a Telly Award.
